CORNING PRESERVE WATERFRONT PARK PLAN WORKSHOP thurs and sat

The City of Albany, in partnership with Capitalize Albany, are developing the Corning Preserve Waterfront Park Plan. This is a New York State and Capitalize Albany funded plan that is following the soon-to-be completed Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Plan Update. The goal of this master plan is to develop specific short, mid and long-term plans for the revitalization of the Corning Preserve. These improvements may include bike, pedestrian, water-based, and vehicular transportation, park programming, connections to downtown and adjacent neighborhoods, and the provision of services. Outcomes from these workshops will be fully integrated into the Downtown Albany Tactical Plan.

Next week we will have two meetings on the Corning Preserve Waterfront Park Plan.  Both meetings will include a presentation and survey on possible park improvements with an opportunity to discuss park improvement ideas in detail. Attached is the flyer on the meeting.
